Artist Statement
Theatre is the human condition made manifest on stage. As actors, we learn by doing. We make discoveries by fearlessly exploring a character using not only our minds, but our bodies, voices, and hearts. As a 30-year veteran of the stage, I have learned the best way to perfect my craft is to boldly teach and inspire the next generation. Above all else, theatre should engage community and inspire dialogue. As a director, if people do not leave asking questions about what they have experienced, I have not done my job.
